My husband Peter was diagnosed with Early-onset Alzheimer's disease at the young age of 53.  We were anxiously anticipating early retirement.  Despite being at the pinnacle of our professional careers, Peter had to stop working a year later, leading to my retirement to care for him as he could no longer be left alone.

Peter, experienced a rapid decline, and his journey ended in 2021 at the age of 56. His death left me with a passion to help others navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s and practice compassionate care.
